By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).

We encourage you to read these Terms carefully. They govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. Our goal is to be as transparent about our policies as we are about our farming practices.

1. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

2. Our Products

We specialize in providing high-quality, humanely-raised poultry products directly from our Southern Alberta farm.

Perishable Goods: You understand and agree that all of our products are perishable. We uphold the highest standards in processing and packaging to ensure maximum freshness upon delivery or pickup.

Product Availability: All orders are subject to product availability. We raise our chickens in flocks and have a finite inventory. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and offer a comparable substitute, a store credit, or a full refund for that item.

Product Appearance: We do not inject our finished products with additives. As such, the appearance, size, and exact weight of our natural products may vary slightly from batch to batch. The photos on our website are representative of our products, but slight variations are a sign of authentic, small-batch processing.

3. Ordering & Order Acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to buy our products. We reserve the right to accept or decline this offer at our discretion. An order is not considered final until it has been packed and is ready for pickup or delivery. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or per order.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Applicable taxes (GST) will be added to your order at checkout.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

Payment is processed through our secure third-party payment processor (Shopify Payments). We do not see or store your full credit card information. By providing your payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method.

5. Local Delivery & Farm Pickup

This section outlines the shared responsibility required for handling perishable goods.

Local Delivery: We offer local delivery to specified zones within Southern Alberta. It is your responsibility to ensure that you, or a designated recipient, are available to receive your order at the address provided during your selected delivery window. Our products are perishable and cannot be left unattended for extended periods. King’s Natural Chicken is not responsible for products that are lost, stolen, or damaged due to spoilage after they have been successfully delivered to the address you have provided.

Farm Pickup: If you select “Farm Pickup,” you agree to pick up your order from our farm at the designated location during the scheduled pickup window. Orders that are not picked up during the specified timeframe will be forfeited without a refund. We cannot hold perishable items indefinitely due to limited freezer space and food safety protocols. We will send email reminders, but it is ultimately your responsibility to retrieve your order on time.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Our Quality Promise

Our complete policy on handling product issues is outlined on our “Return Policy” page.

For food safety reasons, we cannot accept physical returns of any perishable products once they have left our possession.

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you have a legitimate concern about the quality or accuracy of your order (e.g., you received an incorrect item or the packaging was compromised upon delivery), please contact us at albert@kingslandfarms.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.

To help us resolve the issue, please include your order number and a photo of the product in question.

At our discretion, we will resolve any verified issue with a replacement product in your next order, a store credit, or a refund for the affected item.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of King’s Natural Chicken and is protected by copyright laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

You agree that your use of our service and products is at your sole risk. In no case shall King’s Natural Chicken, our family, or our employees be liable for any injury, loss, or claim arising from your use of any of the products purchased from us, including, but not limited to, any claims related to improper cooking or storage of our products on your part.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
